Hello All,
I was diagnosed with TC in 2002. I had a radical orchiectomy the day after diagnosis w/ careful observation since my markers were normal. 3 months later they jumped, and I underwent three cycles of BEP. Due to a teratoma residual in my lymph nodes (10cm), I underwent an RPLND. I have been clean since then, but at my last CT they found another mass in my abdomen. All the signs point to another teratoma (my markers are totally normal and the mass is well defined), and I will be going through another RPLND, this time with Dr. Richard Foster at Indiana who is of course known to be the best.
Has anyone had this problem of a recuring teratoma, or had to undergo RPLND twice? I feel confident that this time, under the hands of Dr. Foster, this will be the last one.
Stay strong.
