Hi,
I have a question regarding my brother's treatment. He had an IO in September followed by RPLND in October and he is starting 2 rounds of adjuvant chemo today. However, this morning, his blood work from Friday came back showing that is hcg increased to 7.5. The doctor said his tumor markers are rising (they were always normal in the past) so it may be necessary to have a CT scan. Has this ever happened to anyone? What could it mean? Is it likely they will increase the rounds of chemo? I know the doctors will make a recommendation soon but I'd like to know what others have done when faced with this.
