Surveillance

Hi All,

I was interested in hearing from those who chose the surveillance protocol after TC and later found that it had spread.

How was it caught? Thru CT Scans, blood tests, Xray? By your body telling you? (pain, etc) How long did it take after the return?

I am currently on surveillance after my second TC (stage 1 seminoma both times). I had radiation treatment after my first 8 years ago, and I am now one year into my surveillance protocol after my second. (Chest & abdominal CT scan every 4 months)

sorry been away from the board for a while and am catching up - to answer your question my recurrence was found a year after my op via a scheduled CT Scan
