Well my second opinion at Shands (University of Florida) went well! They agree with all treatments thus far. They agree that the suspisious spots in my brain MRI's probably arent cancer either. My lymph nodes, which were enlarged up to 8cm are completely clear! Since I had Seminoma, no RPLND needed - WHEW!
I did have my t/c spread to my lungs. I had two spots - very small. One spot has completely resolved. The other, 3.5mm is still there - unchanged. They are recommending surgery to remove this just to be on the safe side. They said the surgery is minor (compared to RPLND anyways) but I am wondering if anyone has ever had this done?
Other than that, looks like everything is a success! Will be closely monitoring with scans of course. They also might have to start me on steroids because I *might* have gotten a bad side effect of the bleomycin which is lung toxicity -- bad cough that hasnt cleared up with antibiotics.
