Has anyone here experienced pain in the legs post RPLND? My cousin had his RPLND on the 14th of March and is now home. As of today, he's having tenderness and pain/aches in his legs (knees down). Has ANYONE heard of this? We've put in a call to his Dr., but it usually takes 24-48 hours to get through. He doesn't want to head to ER if it's something typical. Hi legs look normal colored, so I don't think it's a circulation problem. BUT, he has been really really having a hard time walking at all. Any ideas?
alright how you doing?
i had my rplnd on 3/3/05 and all seems to be going well. i do get 'restless' legs from time to time. exercise does help to alleviate this. as to pain, i heard that if you're gonna get blood clots, you normally get them in the calves. i also had some leg pain that felt muscular when i stopped taking the painkillers as often. one of the side effects of withdrawal from codeine based analgesics is muscular aches and pains, but other than that i don't really know more. if it continues do keep trying his doctor though.
all the best
