I was recently told by unreliable source, that here in Canada that OHIP doesn't cover all cancer treatments. Does anyone know if this is true? I know most of you are from the US, but do you have any insight?

Hi I have never heard of anyone with OHIP not being covered for cancer treatment as long as it is within the standard guidelines. If he had the surgery and it was covered then all the followup treatment and chemo should be covered too. If you havent already checked go to the web site for Princess Margaret, they have the guidelines for TC treatment and OHIP would abide by those as they have the gold standard of cancer care in the province. There are a few people on this forum from ontario, you may want to ask them . The only issue I have ever heard about in Ontario is that there is a longer waiting time for some treatment.
