Did any of you find your remaining testicle gets sore after excercise or irriated more often than prior to all of this? Did you change anything you did for instance boxers to briefs?
A concerned wife/
Sometimes guys just seem to be more aware (and paranoid) about the remaining testicle. I had some unexplained pain on several occassions after my first I/O. Just make sure he tells the doc at his follow up, and if the pain gets worse, call your doc asap or go to the ER.
My pains eventually stopped.

Yes we saw doctor yesterday and will have ultrasound Monday. Just wondering what this soreness could be if not cancer. I remain amazed and so sad to see the number of men on this board who have undergone 2 bouts with this disease. I know they say numbers are low but I can't help worrying that my husband will get this in his other testicle.

I have to echo Fish's comment about just being more aware of the other testicle, which only accentuates perceived pain and discomfort. But that does pass with time, to the point that having one testicle will seem unremarkable. You're right in checking anything suspicious out (I myself was a little blasé going into TC2) but I can offer the hope that the anxiety, with time, will pass.
As for your question regarding underwear, I did find that supportive briefs were more comfortable than looser-fitting underwear with only one testicle in my own case. But it's a matter of personal comfort, after all, so it might take some experimentation with different types of underwear now that circumstances are different.

I also had a ache in my remaining testicle about 3 months after my IO and immediately following my chemo. My doc could not really put a finger on why I was having an ache. I had an US and it was normal.
For some reason many of us have had unexplained aches and pains.
Hi,
Just to weigh in, I found that I had to switch from boxer-briefs to simply briefs, otherwise the loner would slip down  . Yes, I'm also very sensitive about it. I flinch if my wife suddenly touches me anywhere near there.
