There is a baseball player named Josh Hamilton who is from Raleigh, NC. He was the #1 draft pick a few years ago and spiraled into drug and alcohol addiction...he ended up out of baseball.
This year he returned from suspension, is clean and sober, and has been selected to the All-Star game.
All that to say....a quote around him that rings true for those who are sticken with this disease:
"Never giving up can be defined as attempting to be as strong as those who've continued to believe in you."
Thanks to all of you caregivers for never giving up on us patients: Dadmo, and Mommo, Mikey, Diane, Pam, Sabrina, Margaret, Emily, and all of you......Thank you!!
