Sore nipples

It has been 3 weeks since my orchiectomy. Before the sugery my hcg levels were at 77. Doc says they have normalized but my nipples are just as sore as before. Is this normal?
My brain wants to connect that with rising hcg levels.

actually for some reason Boyce's doctor said his nipples may remain tender forever,and he has had an all clear :D . Don't allow it to raise your anxitey yet. Sore nipples or sore breast tissue I have heard is common. Best of luck,

My son's got a bit better right after the I/O but it was months before they were pain free.
