    New Lump

    G'day..

I had three lumps in my right boy diagnosed as cysts a few months back..so all good.

However, in the last few weeks, noticed a new lump on my left boy; no pain, just feels abnormal and not the same as other lumps on the right side.

Wondering if I need to go get new lump checked or the likelihood is that it's also a cyst. Just don't feel like rocking up to the Dr each time a new lump appears...I feel like a pain.

    Thoughts?

    Cheers dips

I'm in kind of similar situation, waiting for appointment for a lump. If it feels different then the cysts then you should go see the doctor if it is immovable and attached to the testis.

I would say any new lump or change in feel of the testicle warrants a trip to the Doc to have it checked out.

I'd say it's always better to be safe than sorry!! Sure, it's uncomfortable, but that's the price of having a peace of mind or catching it early... check it out!

Mate it there is something get it checked - you really need to Ultra Sound to determine what it is - plus if it is a cyst you should keep an eye on they for changes .

Absolutely get any lump checked out. I would go to emergency room myself and get an ultrasound right away. Do not wait. Not worth it. Not all tumors are the same, for example mine DID start with pain where most internet searches will say a lump that doss not hurt. If it is in fact cancer, the earlier you catch it and get it removed the better.

Get it checked out, I wouldn't go to the ER though, just get an appointment as soon as possible with your regular doc (or uro if you have seen one before).

Folks..thanks for the responses. I'll keep an eye on it and make a Dr appt.

Rasahibu..how do you know if it's a cyst or a lump? I'm guessing if its just on the surface, likely to me a cyst?

                  Cheers

You get an U/S, anything else is just a guess.

                      Dips,

Mine are cysts as per ultrasound results. I didn't know what is a lump neither cysts before that.

                        Dave,

Is it true if you are diagnose with lumps is more critical then cysts? Or it depend?
