Husband went to doc after noticing pain & swelling in his right testical a couple months after his vasectomy. Doc said was probly infection and gave antibiotics but did ultrasound to be sure. While doing the U/S the tech said he noticed a cyst or something in an area separate from the infection area. But doc called and said everything was fine and said nothing about a cyst etc. so hubby took the antibiotics and went on with life for a couple weeks and then Doc calls out of the blue and says after re-looking at the U/S they found an intratesticular hypoechoic lesion about 20mm and they want a 2nd ultrasound and blood work. We are now waiting on results of blood work and 2nd ultrasound this afternoon.
Has anyone had this happen could the mass still be related to the possible bacterial infection they thought he had and be gone today? Or is it more likely it’s still there and Doc mis diagnosed and ignored the mass originally?
