Mate, if you have not done so already - check the self check info and Vid here http://www.tc-cancer.com/about/self-exam.html

With a TC there will be a lump on the Testicle itself - not other places. Check the vid - if you have questions come back, if there is a lump of any shape on the testicle see a doc.

Whenever you feel anything that does not feel "right", go see a doc. We cannot possibly tell what is going on just from your post. We are not docs, & your descriptions may not tell us everything even if we were. Please go to the doc & let us know what he/she has to say.

It doesn't sound like TC from your descriptions, no. TC is generally IN the testicle, not on. A tiny bump right on the surface sounds a bit more like a cyst. "Squashy testicle" isn't a sign of TC. The general groin pain/discomfort can be a result of too much poking and prodding of the testes in the previous day or two, and generally isn't a sign of TC.

You almost certainly don't have anything to worry about. But that said, make sure you keep a regular (~monthly - not too frequently) check and do please immediately go see your doctor if anything changes or you have any concerns.

              All the best,

"A tiny bump right on the surface sounds a bit more like a cyst"

I found mine that were tiny hard almost jaggered lumps on the outer surface of the guys - both times

Tails: thanks for the replay. but i think i dont understand the part you said it IN the testicle. i mean the lump is on i dont know either its in the skin or in the testicle.
Kiwi: its not that hard and it discoverd it two months ago but it seems there is no majaor size change just a little little bit bigger

The majority of TC cases, though not all, I guess, have the cancer focus well within the body of the testicle. It's generally 0.5cm+ in diameter (often 1cm+) before it gets spotted, and the feeling under self-examination is a 'rock hard' bump distorting the normal shape of the testicle. If the focus is nearer the surface then I guess you might get a smaller bump/lump. Rarely it might even be right at the surface (and possibly even be benign, like tc2100's recent adenomatoid tumor).

What I was saying is that if it feels like the centre of the bump is on the surface of the testis, if there's no evident size increase over the course of a week or so, and if it moves around or comes and goes, then it's less likely to be TC. The comment about going to get it checked out if you have any concerns or there's any changes/growth still stands, though.

Yes, but really, if there's a noticeable difference between your testes (other than small differences in size) then you really should get it checked out - not generally likely to be a problem, but better safe than sorry.
