  • Introduction

    Hello everyone,
Recently diagnosed with Stage 3 TC (hasn't spread beyond the retrop lymph nodes but my Hcg levels were 6000 initially and 13,000 after R/O.) I have completed 2 of the 4 cycles of BEP (Hcg levels are now 47) so far and have been referred and actually scheduled for post chemo RPLND at the University of New Mexio in Aug. Bless everyone for being on these forums and I have so many questions, ill start with. How can I research how many of these type of surgeries my surgeon does? Should I go somewhere else even though I don't think my insurance would cover it?

Thanks in advance and I hope to get to know you all a little better.

I am unaware of a way to research that other than to ask the surgeon. Others here might have better info.
Jan, 1975: Right I/O, followed by RPLND
    Dec, 2009: Left I/O, followed by 3xBEP

UChealth cancer center in Denver is a center of excellence for testicular cancer. It couldnt hurt to get in touch with them and see what they say.
