  • Heat intolerance after chemo

So, as of a week ago, I've been all clear for three years. This is after a unilateral orchiectomy, four rounds of BEP and a RPLND.

Needless to say, I'm thankful, but I wanted to ask a question of everyone here of something I've noticed since treatment.

Long story short, I used to have no problem in the heat -- I played tennis all through the summer, ran, etc. These days though, any time it gets above 85 (which is often in NC) and I try to exercise, I wilt like a flower. It bothers me because I'm still only 28 and am in pretty good all around shape.

I was talking to another friend who's gone through chemotherapy and who also felt the same way, so I wanted to put a question to all of you: Has anyone else noticed a heat intolerance post-chemo? Or am I just getting a little more sensitive to the weather?

    Thanks!
