    9 Months Post 3xBEP -- All Clear !!!

Got my 9 months post 3xBEP All Clear !!!

This appt was much easier mentally than the 6 months one, but it's still not "easy'. Better; yes, but I doubt that it will ever be "easy". It's clearly a new life that I live. A better life. I just wish those around me * really * understood....I know that you all know what I mean by that. I struggle a bit with that sometimes...particularly today.

    BEGIN RANT

It's 15 minutes before I am to leave for my 9 month checkup and work calls. They are in a bad spot in a non-production environment. They want me to pull some miracle fix out of my @ss. There's very few options to fix the problem. (kinda like cancer treatment) all the options kinda suck. Then they pull the business bullsh!t card: ....why It's costing us time and money.

I just wanted to scream to tell them to F*** off. It's not the person on the other side of the phone's time and money...or mine. The business will not wither away and die. In 5 minutes I've to go to an appt that is life and death ! .... life doesn't get any clearer or stark than this. I am shaking like a baby on the way to these appointments. I have a family member drive me to them !

Neddless to say I am back at home; chilling out, not ready to go back to this bullsh!t....I can't even enjoy getting an ALL CLEAR !

    END RANT

Other than that I am ecstatic !!!

Great to hear the good news Matt, and I sympathise on the work front. All too quickly they can go from supportive and caring to 'business as usual'. Good on you for keeping your priorities straight. :-)
