    Diagnosis in hand, CT coming...

Ok, here is my story after I/O:

    1) Embryonal carcinoma.
    2) Size of tumor: 2.0 cm
    3) spermatic cord invasion: Absent.
    4) Vascular invasion: Present (within spermatic cord)
    5) Extension beyond tunica vaginalis: Absent
    6) Spermatic cord margin: Negative for tumor
    7) Non-neoplastic testicle: Intratubular germ cell neoplasia present.
    8) TNM: pT2 NX (Stage 2 I guess)

Getting CT scan on Friday, results on October 7th (docs on vacation) and then looks like they want to do a RPLND afterwards.

Ok, so help me unscramble these eggs.

Be sure to consult with a medical oncologist. Unless there are tumors on the CT, RPLND may not be the recommened option. If your tumor markers have normalized or if you never had elevated markers and your CT is clear, 1 or 2xBEP would be appropriate with the EC and vascular invasion. With elevated markers and a clear CT, BEPx3 will probably be the recommendation. As is widely reported on here, EC has been known skip the lymph nodes and go to the lungs.
