Hey everyone, my markers are up and my Oncologist says it's too soon to worry... but you know how it is.
Here's a quick recap:
Left Inguinal Orchiectomy August 2014 - Pathology indicated Seminoma Stage I (age 27 at the time)
Relapse 9/4/2015 (Stage IIA) - treatment was 3 weeks of radiation
Elevated markers on my last surveillance, CT scan (full pelvic) reported as all clear - Mid November 2018
LDH rose from 198 on April 10 to 308 on November 5
Beta HCG rose from 2 on April 10 to 6 on November 5
The Oncologist ordered a blood test and chest CT for January 28. I'm concerned that it's 12 weeks between tests (I've read that the protocol for a situation like this is 4-6 weeks between retesting), and cynically wonder if it's because of the holiday season (my results appointment was scheduled for December 18th because I was out of the country).
Am I overreacting? Should I try to push to expedite retesting?
Thanks
