  • Which specialist to treat low T?

My primary care doctor wrote orders for me to get tested for low T. But she seems very reluctant to treat. She mentioned that a urologist would be the correct doctor to treat (pending my test results). Is that normal? I thought maybe an endocrinologist would be the right specialist?

What type of doctor provides your treatment?

    Thank you,

It depends. Some urologists are spot on while others not so much. I had my endo refer me to the PUR clinic. Dr Purkatil is one of the best doctors in the world for treating Male issues.
He and his fellow doctors in his practice go above and beyond.
I'm going to be starting the long acting injections. Every 10 weeks. They dont really care about standards what they care about his do you feel right. They practice within the guidelines but they dont say we can only do this or that. They treat you and your condition and will continue to do so until they get it right.
