Hello,
Day 11 of my first cycle of TIP, for which I have gotten a picc line inserted. On Saturday, I went into hospital as my arm with the picc line turned red. Still in Hospital get blood thinners and antibiotics, hoping that they will be able to do the Doppler scan today.
Since I left I hospital last Monday, after receiving chemo in patient, I have been going on a couple of 30min walks through out the day.
This morning in hospital as I was walking I started bleeding from my picc line insertion site. I am assuming the bleeding and excerise are related.
I have worked very hard over the last couple of months to loss a lot of weight and while getting treatment I do not want to back slide.
Any of you who had picc line and stayed as active as you could during treatment, what type of exercise did you find the most safety for you picc line?
