  • While waiting for first oncology visit after RPLND: problem on testicle

    Hi to all members/survivors,
I am 26 years old, diagnosed with testicular cancer(pure seminoma) last April, 2017. My lump was only on lymph node, not at all in testicles. After I went through 4 cycles of chemotherapy and after RPLND surgery on last November 20th.
Now I am waiting for my first visit to my oncologist after my RPLND, which has been fixed on February 5th. So I were waiting for that day. But this week , about three days before, after I weared a tight jeans and UWEAR and made walk and sitting for long time and back home, my right testicles were having pain, it was very severe. (now too) I thought my testicle hurts by the tight dress. And for last three days it’s paining.

So yesterday, I went the emergency department of a hospital nearby me. They did the Ultrasound scanning and I said about my TC treatments carried out. And told the doctor, I am waiting for the oncology visit on 5th February. Then they given the Ultrasound result to me and told me to show this to the oncologist (when I visit). As well as they referred me to have a visit with a urologist (it takes time to get the appointment done, they will first inform me with a date of visit).

I am feeling a structural change to my right testicles like a big mole over the testicles when I touch the testicle and have pain while touching. am very angry of my situation and confused what to do. Do I need to wait for the visit(on Feb 5) with this pain or I should visit my oncologist in an emergency. I don't know what's the problem is.?

    thanks to all reading

Jjacob keep thinking positive. You have onco visit soon. For me, after 10 years, I feel things sometimes, the odd mole, phantom pain, but I've learned to always move forward. Wishing you the best! Raincrow

I went throught CT scan and then after blook tests. Biopsy.
I had my appointment with oncologist last day.
The good news is: all clear for now. There is problem in right testicles and is like infection (hydrocele).
          Next control on May
