  • Radiation vs Chemo

Can anyone confirm my thinking on this this? I've found out my TC (seminoma with slight lymph intrusion, orchiectomy in 12/2017) has spread to a single lymph node. I've been given options for either chemo or radiation.

Radiation targets only the single node, and would take care of that. The radiation, however, is so localized, it might miss other cancer cells that we can't see yet. Chemo, on the other hand, is system wide. So, while it might take longer, it has a better chance of getting all the remaining cancer cells before they can cause more problems.

I'm also looking for pros and cons of each treatment, if anyone has advice. I have an appointment with the radiation doc on the 13, but can start the chemo process sooner if I decide to go that route.
