    Questions i need to ask

June 7th - 2017 Dia TC in both testicles
June 8th - had CT scan all clear
June 13th - had both removed pathology was Seminoma in both doing observation
Jan 31 2018 - CT scan showed to enlarged lymph nodes
    March 5th - Started 3*BEP
    April 17th - Completed chemo

I completed Chemo on April 17th i did not have my last 2 Bleo treatments due to bleo toxicity and reduced lung function so my next step was to get my CT scan which i have done and i see my oncologist tomorrow for my results. Fingers crossed its worked and all is good but my question is worst case scenario what are the next steps and what questions do i need to be asking my oncologist i am going to make a list of questions for her thanks.

Wow sorry ur going through this. Ur probably the first case I have read on here where someone got TC in both testicles at the same time. So sorry to hear that man!

Being it was 100% seminoma that’s good for cure chances. Why didn’t ur doctor go through with another round of EP since you couldn’t do the Bleo? That is usually protocol for patients unable to complete 3xBEP. There is still a good chance that the 3 rounds of chemo u did receive will zap it. I am in a similar case where I chose 4xEP for my pure seminoma TC in order to avoid lung problems due to a career in the army, but complications with clotting from the port coupled with cellulitis left me short a round. I have my first 3 month CT scan through n week or two fingers crossed mine is still clear. My initial scan post chemo in February was clear.

Switchng to another dose of EP seems to be done if the last 3 weeks of BEP can't be completed. In Scotty's case, he got through all 3 rounds of BEP (total 7 weeks) & only missed two doses of bleo. I suspect that is why they did not include another round of EP.

They want me to go back in 3 months for a physical exam and in 6 months I get my CT scans and chest x-ray. I feeling ok apart from I keep getting these aches in both legs if feels like when you have the flu them type of body aches had it now for about 2 weeks the docs think that will go away the same with my resting heart rate that is a little higher but they also think that will resolve itself over time.

Well, scotty808, that doesn't sound too bad - hopefully, these symptoms go away soon! I remember it took at least a couple of weeks for most issues to disappear... Are you on testosterone replacement?

I have been fine the only thing that makes me feel a little tired is the low lung function but thet tell me that should fix itself over time
