  • Nodule in Lung after Orchiectomy

    Hey Guys (and supporters),

Markers were all normal, left orchiectomy done, pathology report said 15mm sized pure seminoma, no invasion, bottom and upper abdomen CTs are good.

Chest CT showed 7 mm sized ground-glass looking pathcy nodule on the bottom-right lung. I am worried about a possible lung methastasis.

It can happen but very rare for it to jump past everything and head to your lungs. This has been discussed several times on here.
Lungs can be a tricky beast to figure out. More than likely it is something that has nothing to do with TC. Dusty evironment or really any kind of crap you inhale could cause that.

Pure seminoma really isn't known to skip the abdominal lymph nodes & go straight to the lungs> Odds are whatever they are seeing is unrelated.
