  • small residual pulmonary node, is it too soon?

I just had my post chemo CT, two weeks after my last bleo (3xbep). I had lung nodules one of which was 19*18 mm. Which reduced to 11*12 mm. Another nodule 4 mm remains same at 4.

My oncologist wants to resect the node. Where as surgeon says other node is too small.
Can the nodes still shrink further? I read somewhere 1cm nodes are likely to be excluded.

Well, those results at two weeks, the odds are good that the next scan will show all nodes less than 1 cm. My first scan post chemo showed some enlargement in my node still, but no other scans even mentioned it.
