      Hi Hermana,

Your recent updates are very encouraging! I hope your brother is doing well. I will also be talking to my doctors shortly about adding a c-kit inhibitor to my upcoming GEMOX. I recently was on a c-kit inhibitor named Sunitinib, it failed under two months. Clearly, there is promising results with using this class of drugs in combination with chemotherapy. Please keep us updated, as I will too. Praying for you and your loved ones.

        Last News, bhCG remains indetectable!!

His doctor wants to do a control PET-CT scan and another laboratory test by the end of January 2020. We are full of joy. Maybe this was the last battle and we won? I hope so.

He continues taking his imatinib pills.

Alam, I've search your post so if you don't mind I will reply you there, but just in case someone interested is reading this: yes, my brother's case is not the only one that gave good response with a combination of a chemo regimen and a c-kit inhibitor (in his case, Gemcitabine + taxol combinated with Imatinib), although it was stopped because the surgery was a better option in his case.

Thanks all for your prayers and good wishes, have you all a merry Christmas, I'll be praying for all our beloved ones.

Another test, another INDETECTABLE bhCG, another month of ¿normal? life...

We've reached the "ecuador", if the next test remains this way, this will be the longer time he has been with normal tumour markers...

Feeling the fear and the joy, but most of all, the incredible joy.
