  1. Hello everyone my name is John and I am from Montreal and I am new to this message board.

I was diagnosed with Stage I non-seminoma. Below you will find my test results pre / post surgery:

I/O surgery to remove left testicle: 12Dec08 (clean margins/no vascular invasion)
    AFP: 68 (13Dec08)/ 2.1 (12Jan09) - Normal post I/O
    HCG: 2 (13Dec08)/ 0 (12Jan09) - Normal post I/O
    LDH: 197 (13Dec08)/ 131 (12Jan09) - Normal post I/O

    Chest X-Ray: December 10 (clean)
    CT-Scan (12Jan09): abdomen/pelvis/lymph nodes: clean

My urologist has staged this as a non-seminoma I he is not recommending surveillance. So the choice is 2XBEP or RPLND or both.

I am wondering if anyone has encountered a similar situation and what they did. My concern is doing the BEP prior to the RPLND. In other words which one should I do first.

    Thanks in advance.
