Thanks for the b-day wishes. I'm feeling mixed feelings today as I celebrate and my thyroglobulin test results came back at 1,000 when it should be zero. I had them draw another blood sample to see if it was a fluke test...if not then we will be looking at alternate treatment options.

No immediate plans to visit the States, I fear. I'm about to start a teacher training course. Another year of study means another year of poverty. Also, I am absolutely terrified of flying (I mean really terrified. In 2005 I went to China - a 10 hour flight form here - and I was too scared to even get up to go to the toilet!)
I would love to come over and meet some of you guys, though. Maybe I could brave the flight. I'm also looking into the possibility of taking a cruise ship over there. I won't until at least next summer, though.
