    Pam,

I am volunteering this weekend at the Relay 4 Life, cancer walk. I would like to put a shirt together with Les' picture along with Jerry's. Would it be ok if I used Les' picture?

    Hello Pam,

I was just thinking about you and wanted to say "hello." I don't think there's a day that goes by that I don't think about you and Les. I can't say "I'm sorry" enough. I hate this damn disease. I hope you can feel all the prayers I say for you.
    Hugs,
    Mary Ann

    Pam,

I am not on here a lot but saw a post that had your tag indicating that you lost Les. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope your final days together were blessed with the ability to say goodby and have some kind of comfort. I was fortunate to have my children home for the holidays so it makes me sad to think you had your first Holiday without your son. I don't know what to say other than there are folks out here that pray for you and I am sure Les was so proud of all the care and support you gave him.
Take care, hope you are well.

    Hi Pam,
I haven't seen a post from you in a couple of days and I am greatly concerned. How is Les? How are you? I know you are busy and I'm sure just plain exhausted. You and Les are in my thoughts and prayers several times a day. I wonder how I can help. I know this sounds trivial, but would you like me to send a housekeeper for you? How about dinner delivered one night? I know these are small silly things, but things a mom usually has to do. These are things I could do just to give you a couple of free moments for yourself or with Les. My phone is 714-475-4188 in case you ever want to talk. Hugs, Mary Ann

    Pam,
My Daughter is living in a neighborhood known as NODA. She is there with her husband. I was in CLT last week to visit them. They are new to town since June of this year...we miss them. The week I visited they worked her 94 hours and she was on call for 24 the day before I arrived so her time and schedule is pretty limited. She has done her Surgery rotation and is on OBGYN right now. My wife and I lived in Charlotte for a year about 5 years ago...you live in a very beautifull place.
    Take care,
    Roger

Thanks for the kind comments. I can't begin to imagine what you and Les are going thru. I hope this forum is helping. My daughter is a Resident at Carolina's Medical Center in their family practice program. I have seen her torn up too many times over critical care patients and her desire to help out where only God can determine the outcome. My best to you, your family and to Les as you all face this together. My prayers are with your family.
