Yes, it's still there. I found out when I went for my annual survellience. Blood work showed active thyrogobulin. I have to have another dose of RA131 which is radioactive iodine. This time it will be a higher dose to zap the heck out of the cancer. Thanks for your concern and especially your prayers.

Yea. With 2 daughters I just gave then my wallet! The best way to increase anxiety, I found, was to mention their acne - then get out the way very fast.

Thanks for your message. We have more in common - I'm also a Paul. I thought I'd be the oldest one here which sort of put me off registering for a bit! Even my colleague who did the ultrasound commented that I was too old for TC.

I think of my cancer experience as an unexpected and interim "Mid-Life Crisis". I believe my true Mid-Life Crisis will be cured by something in cherry red, leather seats, 450 horsepower, an awesome sound system, and absolutely no room for toddler car seats!
