    I was really hoping it would end up being TC and not Lymphoma. Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphatics. The testicles, brain, and central nervous systems can be sanctuary sites for a lot of cancers. Obviously with it being Lymphoma the treatments for it will be different than for...

    As Uno points out. Adjuvant therapy is about wiping out any possible micro-metastasis that cannot be resolved via CT scan, etc.

    There's a chance that the cancer has spread, but it's too small to be seen on the CT scan so there are options for treatment if you wanted to pursue it...possibly...

    A lot of oncologists will offer Adjuvant treatments (radiation or chemo) for Stage 1 disease. It's a lower dose of treatment which drastically reduces the chance of recurrence. For Seminoma it's usually radiation or carboplatin. For non seminoma it's 1 or 2 cycles of BEP chemo.

    That's a clear CT scan. Sounds like your husband will be on Surveillance.

    However, do not be surprised if the Onco offers adjuvant Carbo (assuming seminoma) or radiation.

    Choices are better than none. I'd wait on the pathology report to help refine your list of questions...
