    after treatment... recovery time?

Was just wondering when others felt back on their feet after their final treatments. I've heard some individuals take up to a year to feel back to normal. But in all honesty, I think my husband will was to have a celabratory drink after his treatment. He's just weary about when would be a safe time. I'm thinking 4 to 6 weeks after, he'll feel a little better. His last cycle is right before Thanksgiving

It took me about 2-3 months to start feeling normal again, each week felt better and better right form the get go. But.....now that I'm back to my normal routine (7 months after the chemo) I do feel myself getting tired on long days or long weeks which I'm assuming is due to the chemo. In my opinion it took about 2-3 months to function normally but even 7 months late I can feel it sometimes.

honestly, I want my husband to recover and get back to normal at his own pace...even of it takes another 6-7 months. He was just saying today how he thinks I am getting cabin fever. "no not at all". I love staying home and relaxing or watching movies. I've found that we've grown closer more than ever, and I think you're right. Life will never be the same as it was before it all happened. It's been a real eye opener. taking it day by day is the way to go. I know he'll come out of this stronger than ever
