    Lumps in lower abdomen

Hi everyone, its almost been 2 years since Evan finished chemo, but now we are starting to worry again. He has had some pain in his lower left abdomen with swelling in the same area and went to the Dr. who said it was a possible infection and gave him an antibiotic. Well it seemed to help a little it didn't get better. Being worried he started to feel around his lower abdomen and has found a few small lumps (had dull pain as well). I have also felt them as well, so I know he not just paranoid. I would say they are no bigger then this . Evan went for a CT scan about a week and a half ago and we have not heard anything yet, he is also scheduled to see his Oncologist on the 7th, unfortunately that is the soonest he can see him. He had a chest Xray and an bladder and kidney ultrasound and they were all clear.

Ok so here is my question, is it possible for TC to show up in the abdomen? if so, what might it bee attached to?

I have searched the internet and can find no info on this what so ever. Any info would be greatly appreciated

It never ends, does it? The only things I can think of are cysts. I think the lower abdominal lymph nodes are too deep to feel. Has Evan had any injuries to his legs, or had a colonoscopy lately? Did they do blood tests to check for infection? How about a PSA for his prostate?

Thanks Paul, we went to the ER because he couldn't get into see a Dr. until the new year and didn't want to wait because it was really bothering him. So after 8 hours in the ER we got the results of the CT and it was all clear. The Dr. said it is inflamed lymph nodes, and said they could be inflamed from a minor scratch on the leg. Sooooo nothing to worry about is a great xmas present!

I guess the looming fear of this awful disease takes awhile to get over. I can't wait for the remission party in the spring now!

    Thanks so much
