Hi Lee.
Blimey. 4.6 is remarkably low. 9.08 - 55 is the "normal" range that my local lab quoted to me.
Yes, a good endo is what you need. I can hardly believe they haven't tested you levels for over 12 months. That's just unacceptable.
Hi guys yesterday I went for my 6 monthly armed with useful information and a newfound confidence gained from your help and this forum. On arriving I met the Registrar not the Consultant but I carried on regardless and showed her all the new and wonderful TRT's on offer, amazingly she had a blank look on her face then she remarked 'Oh I know Nebido'!!
This was the point (thanks to Kiwi) I asked to be refered to a good Endocrinologist which they are now doing. Thank God!!
I then asked if I could see my latest testosterone levels which she then (looking very embaressed) informed me were a year old. By the way my levels for March '09 wre 4.6!!
And I thought they were looking after me, I could kick myself for being so naive but not anymore thanks to you
Lee

Hi Lee,
I'm so glad your are getting referred to a new endo.
I am currently being treated for thyroid cancer and I had to fire my first endo. I'm so glad you were able to find help here on the forum.
Keep being your own advocate!!

Yeah you couldn't make it up could you, I was fuming. I was having regular blood tests but they were only checking my markers not my testosterone unbelievable!! All the time I was telling the consultant things weren't right but he wasn't very helpful. Still let's hope the new endo can sort me out.
