Congratulations on your 1 year victory
And I agree this forums is awesome, and not just because before my cancer every single google search question i typed in referred to here!
Hello Friends,
Its been a looong time since I have written, although I do keep tabs on how everyone else has been. I have just hit my one year all clear mark and feel extremely relieved.
I also feel very lucky. I see so many of us go through the ups and downs from diagnosis to remission to recurrance for some of us. I want you all to know whether you are new to this forum or veterans to this site, that you are not alone. I rarely ever talk to anyone (other than my wife and some close friends) about my battle with cancer, but whenever I read articles on cancer or see patients who are currently going through chemo, i say in my mind "i feel you and love you for the fight you are going through."
Anyway, cheers to whoever created this forum for giving me a place to talk about my "secret battle". I appreciate you all and wish everyone reading this health and happiness.
Best,
Al
