Great news that your scans are clear! It's also good to hear that your cell type was the less aggressive form (seminoma) and that the tumour was relatively small.

This is my first post, but I've been on here since I went in for my left I/O March 31, 2011. April 7th, the test came back and it was completely seminoma, about one cm. Tumor markers all normal, no spread to the spermatic cord. CT Scan was April 15, and today the doctor emailed that all the scans came back negative! I am now going on observation, officially.

Embryonal Carcinoma; Seminoma. Marker negative.
August 2001: Right I/O .
August - December 2001: Surveillance .
December 2001: Relapse - Stage III. Mets in lymph nodes and lung.
December 2001 - March 2002: 3xBEP .
Complications: Neutropaenic sepsis during cycles 1 & 3. I/V antibiotics and isolation.
March 2012 - Ten years since finishing chemo.

Thanks! I had my first post-diagnosis run Friday, and tomorrow I am going to ride my bike to work for the first time in three weeksthe forced rest was super difficult because it's how I deal. Thanks for the congrats and the welcome!
