I am pleased to report that, at my third visit to the hospital for surveillance follow-up this morning, I was told that my CT scan performed last week was all clear, as have all other clinical signs taken so far been. That is three months' worth of all clear, which is a good start at least. Now just four years and nine months of surveillance to go...
28th of June 2011 - noticed lump in right testicle
29th of June 2011 - saw GP, referred to ultrasound
5th of July 2011 - US: probable non-seminoma in right, microlithiasis in both.
11th of July 2011 - right orchitectamy performed successfully.
26th of July 2011 - appointment with consultant oncologist. Stage 1. Mostly immature teratoma. No vascular or lymphatic invasion. Surveillance.
10th of October 2011 - 3 month CT scan - all clear
29th of August 2012 - 12 month CT scan - all clear]
