    Clear, clear, clear

    Patrick just passed ONE YEAR out from his all clear and TWO years out from chemo!

    Also our one year wedding anniversary. But that's blah compared to his AllCleariversary.

    Wife to Kel, dx 12/30/11 Stage IIIc (poor) embyronal, AFP 13700, 10x11 cm retroperitoneal mass, 1 cm^2 lung met
    Left I/O 12/31/10.
    4xBEP 1-4/11, AFP=22, 5*7 RP mass, tx failed
    1.5 x VeIP 5-6/11; tx failed, AFP/b-hCG rising
    Salvage RPLND @Indy 6/29/11, metastatic mixed germ cell tumor with yolk sac, seminoma and teratoma
    Remission! AFP steady since 9/2011; 1.5 years ALL CLEAR

    Brother (23 when diagnosed) : Dianosed 14/09/2009, testicle removed, Non sem diagnosed. Tumour markers 36000 before op and dropped to 17000 after operation.. Chemo started end of september 4 x BEP. Tumour markers normal at end of chemo. RPLND 26 Feb 2010 No cancer found.

    Latest Appointment May 2013- CT and markers normal

    TC1: 1996, right orchiectomy, seminoma stage I 3.5 cm mass, radiation therapy (peri-aortic & pelvic 27.3 Gy)
    TC2: 2008, left orchiectomy, seminoma stage IA 5 cm mass, left & right prostheses, AndroGel TRT, surveillance at MSKCC

    Right I/O on Sept 10, 2011
    Stage 1, NSGCT
    85% Embryonal, 15% Yolk Sak, <1% Teratoma
    Sept 2011 - CT Scan and Chest X-ray are Clean.
    Oct 2011, Dec 2011, Feb 2012 - all good!
    April 2012 - suspicious nodule seen on lung. determined to be OK, all else is good.
    June 2012 - after comparing to prior scans, still stable and OK.

    (65% Teratoma, 10% EC, 10% Yolk Sac, 10% Seminoma, 5% Choriocarcinoma)
    3XBEP 8/10-10/10
    RPLND 11/2/11 (cyst in right pelvic area was mature teratoma and lymph nodes were clear)

    Son Tyler (age 19) diagnosed 1/6/11-Surgery 1/11/11- 2.5 cm. mixed germ cell (EC, chorio, teratoma and yolk sac).
    Elevated HCG -over 600, Elevated AFP - over 150
    Markers returned to normal by 2/7/11
    Stage 1a (no vascular invasion)
    Surveillance since-
    last CT check -8/15/11 - clear 7 months
    last marker and lung xray check- 10/10/11 - clear 9 months
    CT, xray and blood check - 12/12/11 - all clear -almost one year

    Happy Belated-Anniversaries!!! Such fantastic news on both counts - congrats.
    Husband Shaun diagnosed March 2010. AFP 4571, HCG 3340.
    6cm x 6cm x 8cm retroperitoneal mass + 1cm nodule in right lung.
    Stage IIIb, Intermediate Risk.
    Left I/O March 9/10: 75% EC, 20% Teratoma, 5% Yolk Sac + Seminoma.
    3xBEP + 1xEP March 15 - May 21/10: markers normal.
    Bilateral RPLND July 28/10: 9.5 x 7 x 4.5cm mass, teratoma only.
    Chylous Ascites Aug/Sep.
    November 2012 All Clear
    Continuously monitoring 0.9 x 1.7cm omental nodule (possible fat necrosis)
