I was away on a business trip and I seemed to have missed a lot.

Tracy - excellent news on the steady numbers

Wesmom - glad the surgery is over and Wes is home so quickly. Even though they didn't recommend the low fat diet you can still try to encourage him to eat low fat based on the knowledge you have picked up here.

Codi - glad Don's treatment went well and is behind you.

Samantha - your husband is in his first week of treatment? I hope all goes well for him.

Cheryl - WOW on Matt's HCG. Excellent news! I am so happy for you and I am sure you are looking forward to getting home soon.

Sorry if I missed anyone.

Craig needed to get a blood transfusion this week. I do not have all the details but his hemoglobin was very low. His white counts were low but not terrible but that was Monday. He did not get the neulasta this time due to his reaction last time. He goes this coming Monday for his 4th and final round of chemo. The plan is to check his white counts and if they are to low, he will get a shot of neupogen on Monday and then start chemo on Tuesday. He is feeling better after the transfusion. He really has very bad nausea during the chemo weeks and they can't seem to get it under control. I think maybe it's because a lot of it is mental. As soon as the nurse walks into the room he starts dry heaving! I feel so bad for him, he really is miserable during that week.
