    Completed first year post-chemo surveillance

    With an all-clear.

I need to lay off the Pepsi, but other than that it's good to go!

LiveSTRONG, Movember, Tough Mudder, hiking, hunting, fishing - I am able to do so much that I am thankful for now that this cancer is so much more treatable than it was 40 years ago!

Also remembering those whose fight was tougher thanmine and their families. You remain in my prayers.

This site is a great resource. Thanks again for everything!

Great to hear from you PJ, and with such great tidings! How was the Tough Mudder? I'm interested in trying that out in between half marathons this year! All the best to you, and congratulations!

    Thanks!

Hey, thanks everybody! It's good to know that the "new normal" canbe so darn normal!

Fed, the Tough Mudder was great - I don't think I have ever done an event that was as much fun, or that I am more proud to have finished, and I have run a 24 hour relay and a marathon in my day. I am considering signing up for the Sept 8-9 in Poconos, PA. It's all a mind game, 23 obstacles each with a bit of "I just have to do it, don't think about this too much" and there's some running too - almost the half marathon (which is the best distance to run in my book). I really enjoyed it, and the whole thing is shorter than a BEP infusion. I didn't train much and did it in about 3:45! Hopefully I will be better trained for this one, the 5k at LiveSTRONG Philly will be a dot on the graph, hopefully.

Have a great evening, and thanks again!
