Kel was the same - he posted a little at first, but was more of a lurker and I became more involved here.

For awareness, there are a number of organizations:
    TCAF
    CheckEmLads
    FeelMyBalls
    Besties with Testies

liveSTRONG is a wonderful organization for all types of cancer, and one to which many of us are committed. It is not so TC-specific, and they don't fund research anymore (they focus on patient issues), but definitely one of the best.

Lastly for TC research - there really isn't anything since it is considered so 'curable' already. I've looked into it a little since I want to start a project looking into what can possibly go wrong with resistance for the 5%, but there is nothing TC specific. Fed - anything you've found in this regard?

Just thought I'd check in on this site as it's been a while. Thankful for this site as it really got me through one of the most difficult periods of my life. Happy to report that my boyfriend is still cancer free and seems a million times better. He complains of ear ringing every now and then, and aches in his feet and legs, but otherwise is good! He went from having blonde hair his entire life to black curly hair with more gray...but hey, it's hair! He has gained weight back to his pre-chemo weight, and lifts weight a few times a week to rebuild muscle. He is no longer anemic, but that is not stopping him from eating burgers and steaks nearly every meal.

A good friend of mine started BEPx3 a few weeks after Rob, so we visited him in the hospital and swapped stories. Unfortunately his latest tests showed his markers are up from 13 to 2200. I'm not even sure what this means as my boyfriend was doing BEPx3 to prevent it from ever coming back. I guess my friend is going to have to go through EPx4 which I didn't even know was a possibility. Hoping I can be there for him and provide emotional support as this all starts over for him.
