    Tumor Size

So as I am now just 2 days from my orchiectomy, the size of my left testicle seems to be getting larger. Funny I am not worried about the cancerous growth but the actual removal it. Do any of you know if the size affects the orchiectomy in any way? As I type it seems like a strange question but I cant get it out of my mind. In this case I hope size does not really matter.

I don't think tumor size is going to impact the orchiectomy in any meaningful way.

My Righty was massive when it finally came out. The inguinal canal is rather large, it shouldn't be a problem. If you are concerned I would speak to your urologist to check for infection of other issues that may need attention prior to the I/O.

    Have the frozen peas ready!

    Good luck!

At least there should not be a mistake removing the good one. Thanks for the reassurance.

My friend, I had my left testicle removed when I had the orchiectomy and I didn't experience any problem. Rather (I know this could be absurd) I'm feeling more uncomfortable now that I have the prosthesis, I feel it too big. Anyway, I think that the tumor size doesn't affect your orchiectomy. Good luck!

Just before surgery the Urologist came in with his magic marker and made an x on the side where I was getting the IO. Not sure if that was very comforting or not but he got the "right" one.
