Sounds frustrating. I'm wondering why a 2 mm node would be of significance? Hopefully it is nothing to worry about and the review doesn't show anything worth noting.
I got results back today from last week's CT Scan and they are very political - not confirming or denying anything! Blood markers are fine (no increases from prior tests), however CT scan shows that the nodule on one of my lungs may have grown by 2mm, my prostate is enlarged, a spot on a kidney may be something but is too small to characterize and there is a 2mm lymph node of note.
My oncologist isn't overly worried about any of this...yet. I went to a different location for the CT scan so it's different equipment and a different lab tech making notes so there may be stuff that this person is noting that the last person felt was small enough to be insignificant. She's ordering a proper comparison between this scan and the previous ones to make sure.
As Tom Petty says, the waiting is the hardest part.I was a nervous wreck today at work before my appointment.

sorry, typo on my part. it's a 6mm lymph node. Doctor's not concerned unless it's bigger than 1cm.
Anyway, she called back about 30 minutes ago. Comparison to prior CT shows nothing abnormal. The stuff noted yesterday was there previously but the prior tech didn't note it while this one did. So, stable over several months now. Relief.

Great to hear. It's good that they compared the two and didn't just try and do treatment. There are a lot of posts about blood markers being different due to different labs, but this is an important note that notes on scans can also differ significantly, even if they're looking at the same thing.
