    First round BEP starts tomorrow

Well I start my first treatment tomorrow and nervous as I have ever been. This weekend has been horrible with the anticipation of what's to come. I hope I am one if the lucky ones that doesnt suffer from the horrible side effects. What makes things worse because my tumor was almost 50% teratoma I'm still staring RPLND in the face following this. I keep trying to focus on this stuff is healing me but it's the hardest thing to do. Thanks for letting me vent.

Your anxiety is probably worse than anything you will experience. You will mostly be bored, so bring movies/reading material etc. Drink plenty of water & eat as healthy as you can.

You will look back at the end of this first week & wonder what you were so anxious about.

Vent all you desire! This site was a great sounding board for me. That's what this site is great at being there for, besides knowledge and questions. Good luck with your 1st week! Just stay hydrated and bring a laptop or tablet if you have one. There is a lot of anxious down time. We are all rooting for you to have a side effect free treatment regime and put all this behind you.

    Cheers,

    Rob

I started a blog to help me vent/write symptoms/get everything out in the open. It was sort of therapeutic so you could try that if you get bored.

Starting my 3 round in a couple of hours. My chemo journey has been up and down but I think of the countless men on this site that have went through the good and bad and write to help us. Hopefully soon you will be one of those that can say it was not too bad for me. Either way you will get through it, I am counting down the chemo days (7 left).

So far so good! I am still getting chemo bags but about an hour to go and I am out of here. Thanks to everyone that replied last night. I swear this anxiety is going to be the death of me before the chemo. My headaches have definitely subsided especially after talking to Dr. Einhorn and he assured me that this was not the case. I told Dr. E how glad all of us on the TC forum are forever indebted to him for everything his has done. He is such a humble man! Fingers cross that my two hour ride home with be ok!
