    Wondering about lump...

I have had this bump on my right testicle for around 7 months to a year now. It's on the front of the testicle and it's about the size of a grain of rice and doesn't protrude much from the actual testicle. I'm going to the doctor soon but just wanted to know what I may be in for. I'm a 19 year old. The bump is painless. I don't have any other symptoms except for lower back pain but I seem to suffer from chronic back pain anyways. Any information would be very helpful. Thanks!

Have you made the appointment yet? If not, do so now, not later.

Your doc will examine your testicle & more than likely send you for an ultrasound, if it is clear, you are good to go. If not, there will be blood tests & a CT scan scheduled as well as an I/O surgery. The pathology results along with the other tests will determine what happens next, but for now, get in to see the doc, chances are good it is not TC, there are lots of things that can cause bumps, but only your doc can make that call.

Thanks for the reply. My physician got me in the same day as I made my appointment and said it looked fine to him but like you said sent me to an ultrasound. Had it yesterday and everything checked out fine. Never felt so relieved in all my life. Thanks for the help. Good luck to everyone on this forum!

I'm glad it worked out to be nothing. We are here to try to help anyone with these problems as best we can. Don't hesitate to come back if needed, but I hope I never see you again ;o)
