New member looking to talk and meet with others

I'm 24 and was diagnosed the 13th of February and then had a left orchiectomy and 4 cycles of BEP 5, which I finished 2 months ago. Currently awaiting the surgeons decision on an RPLND.


I seem to have coped ok mentally, so far but the last few weeks I've found things very difficult, Feel afraid all the time, nervous and anxious, can't sleep at night and I'm now desperate to talk to others and ideally arrange some sort of meet to share feelings, ideas etc. I have been unsuccessful in finding any self help groups or meets relevant to me and as I stated earlier, I'm now absolutely desperate to find some way of meeting and talking with others.

Hi Lee,
Afraid I'm too far away to meet in person, but I & many others in this forum will try to help in here as best we can. We have quit a few members in the UK, so a face to face meeting might be possible. It might take a day or two for folks to find this & respond, so don't give up hope if it's not immediate.

I am aware of a few online live cancer chat groups if you are interested, but don't know of any specific to TC.

Hi Lee,

I'm down just south of Bristol, but I may be able to help...

There is a climb up Mount Snowdon organised for next Sunday with several charities and forums taking part. They are meeting at the Llanberis railway car park at 9am.

Unfortunately I can not make it this year, but you will get to meet people from all over England, Wales, France and the USA.
