Good luck with your appointment, jmd, and be sure to let us know what you find out.
I have been having pain in my left testicle for about 2 weeks. Originally the MD thought it was related to some achiness that could have been related to rheumatiod arthritis, then he thought it was epididymitis and put me on antibiotics which didnt help. Now I have the two appts. on Friday. I am pretty nervous. I am very uncomfortable somtimes with aches and pains and other times feel pretty ok. The inside of my thighs feel like they are tightening up and get itchy sometimes. This may be a side affect of the antibiotics I dont know. Im to the point where I think I may be imagining some of these things sometimes. I am just hoping for the best.
Good luck with your appointment, jmd, and be sure to let us know what you find out.

Yes, good luck with the appointment. The ultrasound should let you know whats going on down there. Just take it one step at a time.
Hope all goes well.
