    A Land Down Under

Seems like there's a lot going on in Australia these days. A growing list of forum members, Jimmy's visit there, Paul's trip -- and the start of the Lance Armstrong Foundation's global campaign, the subject of today's post in the new and improved LIVESTRONG Blog.

right inguinal orchiectomy 6/5/2003 > nonseminoma, stage I > surveillance > L-RPLND 6/24/2005 for recurrence, suspected teratoma but found seminoma, stage II > chylous ascites until 9/2005 > surveillance and "all clear" since

This year, I recognize my 10th cancer anniversary by joining Team LIVESTRONG for RAGBRAI, a weeklong, 406-mile bicycle ride across Iowa.

Glad to see Livestrong going global, hopefully it will reach Europe some time soon too.
100% classical seminoma (I-A, RTI). Surveillance (no adjuvant therapy). 4 years all-clear and hoping for many more.

Already planned: Belgium in April, Italy in May, France in July, Ireland in August. I'm sure there is much more in the works!

Highlights of the warm-up run for the TDU was broadcast on cable channel Versus this evening. That never would have happened without Lance Armstrong's participation. I see that they plan to provide about half-hour of daily highlights (at 4:00 pm EST) when the TDU officially starts Tuesday. You can check for more info and the schedule on www.versus.com.
