Congrats Scott! I wish you many wonderful years ahead.
Friday, June 5, marks the sixth anniversary of my orchiectomy, the day I choose to recognize as the start of my new life as a cancer survivor.
There have been ups and downs since, the biggest down affecting me directly being my recurrence, L-RPLND, and slow recovery almost four years ago. On the whole, though, there have been way more ups -- especially all of you who make these forums magic. Thanks for your compassion, wisdom, and openness. You're great!

This year, I recognize my 10th cancer anniversary by joining Team LIVESTRONG for RAGBRAI, a weeklong, 406-mile bicycle ride across Iowa.

Scott,
Your avatar is truly one of those pictures that speak volumes full of words. Winning, never surrendering, triumphing, taking it to the next level and inspirational are some words that come to mind looking at the picture. I think those are some of the positives to have come out of all this thing we share in common, called Cancer, and whatever we choose to define the word "Survivor".
I hope you keep on doing what you're doing for you are truly one of the good guys, driven by the right ideals. Here's to a lifetime of healthy years and happiness and showing folks how to go from Survive to Thrive. Happy 6th!!!
Best,
Zsolt

You are an inspiration. I can't think of anybody else who could so aggressively kick cancer in the ass while being so darn polite. Here's to six down and at least another sixty to go.

A few days ago I was reading Scott's written word entry in "Voices of Survivors". One thing was evident. As horrible as cancer is, its capacity in being transformative is astounding, and no one exemplifies that more than Scott. May you keep having a lifetime of countinued altruism --you do know how to bring the best out of people.

Tho' much is taken, much abides; and though we are not now that strength which in old days moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are; one equal temper of heroic hearts, made weak by time and fate, but strong in will; to strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

For me scott that's what make you special, your devotion to this forum. I won't be able to come at the family reunion this year(wedding aniversary at the same time) but i give a message to everybody. Each of you who will come you have to reserve one of your beer for this guy he deserve it.
