I thought a new thread was in order for my NEWS

the PET scan came back clear.

I called and told them alot of my family was coming up friday for the results. I asked if they could give them to me over the phone to avoid an unneccessary trip.

The Onologist said "there is no reason for your family to come up with you based on these results" Which I asked if this was code for good news, and it was just repeated "there is no reason for your family to come up with you based on these results" I asked, "so can I give a sigh of relief" and the same phrase was just repeated with a giggle.

I go in friday to do a quick follow up and set up a more stringent f/u schedule than what we were doing.

oh, lookie here, didn't see this topic all the way at the bottom

thanks everyone! I never let this get to me too much. I knew what I needed to do if the PET showed positive signs. But, I will say, I realize it was a cloud hovering over me now. I woke up so much better this morning.
