Good News

My son had his three month followup after TIP. Markers are normal! MRI's look good!
Thankful to be sharing this good news.

august 09 left I/O
october started 4x bep
Re dx. stage II I believe, cancer only in lymphnodes
Dec. 17th finished chemo
Jan 29th all clear

April 15th all clear

July 15th all clear

Brother: Dianosed 14/09/2009, testicle removed, Non sem diagnosed. Tumour markers 36000 before op and dropped to 17000 after operation.. Chemo started end of september 4 x BEP. Tumour markers normal at end of chemo. RPLND 26 Feb 2010 No cancer found.

Review May 2010 - All clear
Review July 2010 - CT and markers normal

Surveillance August - December 2001.
Relapse: December 2001. Stage III, mets in lymph nodes and lung.
3xBEP Dec 2001 - March 2002.
Complications: Neutropaenic sepsis during cycles 1 & 3. I/V antibiotics and isolation.

Self 1/29/09 dx thyroid cancer metastasized to right lung 2/10 thyroid removed 4/17 rx RA131 5/11/10 cancer still active 7/17/10 2nd RA131 on 7/16/10

Diagnosed Sept 26th 2008 Both AFP and HGC slightly elevated 1.1cm Lump found right testicle with small satellite lesions, CT scan negative.
Right Radical Orcidectomy Oct 2nd 2008
Markers Normalized 1 Week Post Surgery on to surveillance
End of Nov AFP rose to 44.5, CT scan Negative
3xBEP Dec-Feb
March-APF normalized on to surveillance again
May 6th-CT 4.5cm tumor in abdomen, tumor markers normal.
RPLND May 26th 2009 found teratoma
On to surveillance
All Clear as of April 2010

Husband diagnosed Oct 2008 Pure choriocarcinoma., HCG 425000, 4xBEP, Left orchiectomy, marker did not normalize, 1xICE, Found 3 Tumours in Brain and more in Lungs, radiation on brain and back, 2xTIP, 2 rounds HDC with Stemcell transplant, markers still did not normalize, lost the love of my life, my best friend and soul mate on September 23, 2009.
